THE RED PEN · MARKED LIKE AN EXAMINER

Every half-mark
points to your own words.

No mystery scores. Every deduction quotes what you actually said, weighted by impact; justified omissions cost nothing.

01Both transcripts stay visible — one tap to say "that's not what I said", and it re-marks
02Omission / distortion / grammar / register / fluency — deducted by category
03A model rendition for every segment: text plus official-pace audio

Marking follows NAATI's published assessment framework · calibration target ±3 marks, with the real error rate published from day one.

FAQ

The three questions everyone asks

Can AI marking really match a NAATI examiner?
We mark against NAATI's published assessment framework — meaning transfer plus language quality, deducted category by category — and we calibrate the prediction against students' real test results, publishing the calibration data and average error on this site, so you never have to take our word for it. The transcript stays visible throughout; if you think any line was marked wrong, correct it with one tap and the examiner re-marks instantly.
Are your dialogues leaked test questions?
No — and they don't need to be. Every dialogue is generated fresh to NAATI's official specification: 12–14 segments, about 300 words, ≤35 words per segment, across the twelve official domains. The Topic Radar writes new dialogues around the scenarios reported most often in each language's recent sittings — what you train is the topic and the skill, not the gamble of a memorised script.
When does my language go live?
The engine is language-neutral: Mandarin, Punjabi, Hindi and Nepali are live now; Vietnamese, Tamil, Urdu and Cantonese are in production. Launch schedules appear in the languages section above; each launch is announced on this site, and early users get 7 days of full access free.
